About Dr. Won-Kyung Kang Dr. Won-Kyung Kang is a Seoul-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 25 years in the field. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, and a Master’s Degree at the same university in 2004. He also went on to pursue his M.D. and Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea for further specialization in the field. His main clinical interest lies in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of colon cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, coloanal disorders, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He has also been invited to multiple national and international conferences to deliver lectures and his live surgeries are often shown in various medical forums.
