About Dr. Yeonyee E. Yoon Dr. Yeonyee E. Yoon is a prolific Interventional Cardiologist based in South Korea with 16+ years in the field. She is a respected member of The Korean Society of Cardiology and the Korean Board of Cardiology and the Korean Board of Internal Medicine. She has received several accolades such as The Best Resident of the Year 2006, Department of Internal Medicine, Seoul National University Hospital, Feb. 2007, The Young Investigator Award 2008, The Young Investigator Award 2012, The 4th LG’s Future Medical Practitioner Award 2012, and many more. She graduated from SNU College of Medicine and did her internship, residency, and fellowship at SNU hospital. She also took two years of a research fellowship at the noninvasive imaging department of Mie University Hospital, Japan. Her specialty includes heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, heart transplantation, coronary intervention, coronary artery disease, hypertension, etc.  Dr. Yoon has published many research articles in the field of cardiac imaging, heart physiology, and coronary intervention.
