For the past two years, it has been my honor to be the Chinese American Medical Society’s 34th President. Who would have thought that my presidency would happen over the course of a global covid pandemic? One of my hardest task as CAMS president was to tackle against the stereotypic racial Chinese xenophobia and anti-Asian attacks that the media and politicians have sadly created. I would love to help CAIPA grow with more academic physicians, but more importantly continue to help CAIPA physicians fight against racism and health disparities within our Chinese communities.
