About Dr. Yong-Kil Hong Dr. Yong-Kil Hong is one of the most well-known Neurosurgeons in Seoul, South Korea with over 40+ years of experience. He completed his graduation from the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea in 1980 and later received his M.S. degree from the same university in 1985. He also pursued his M.D. and Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea in 1992 for further knowledge of the field. Dr. Hong’s area of interest includes Brain Tumors Surgery and Chemotherapy (Gliomas, Meningiomas, Pituitary Adenomas, Neurinomas, Brain Metastasis), Endoscopic Brain Surgery, Awake Brain Surgery, etc. He also conducts Gamma-Knife surgery for cerebral vascular malformation. He has presented and published many presentations and well-researched articles on “Endoscopic Transseptal Approach with Bilateral Nasoseptal Flap in Challenging Skull-Base Tumors”, and more.
