About Dr. Yong-Soo Kim Dr. Yong-Soo Kim is a South Korean Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon with 38 years in the field. He completed his graduation from the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea in 1982 and later obtained his M.S. degree from Korea University in 1986. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the field, he also pursued his M.D. and Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea in 1993. His main clinical interests are Chronic Renal Failure, Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Interventional Nephrology, Kidney transplantation, deep vein thrombosis, peripheral arterial atherosclerotic disease, etc. Dr. Kim is also actively involved in clinical research activities in South Korea and has various publications in national as well as international journals.
