About Dr. Younghoon Yoon Dr. Younghoon Yoon is a Medical Gastroenterologist based in Seoul, South Korea with 25+ years in the field. He is the director of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Functional Disease Exercise for Indigestion Research, Asian Neurogastroenterolog and Motility Association, the editor-in-chief of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Functional Disease Exercise, and more. He graduated from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1996 and received his residency opportunity at the same organization.  He also pursued his M.D and Ph.D. courses at Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2001 and 2013 respectively. Dr. Yoon holds expertise in gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, colon cancer, functional gastrointestinal disease, therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection, submucosal dissection endoscopy, etc. He has presented many articles and CMEs as part of medical education programs for professionals and surgeons.
