About Maj Gen (Dr) JKS Parihar (Retd) Maj Gen JKS Parihar is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon with more than 35 years of expertise. The doctor’s services include SMILE Eye Surgery, LASIK & Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma Treatment, Cataract Surgery, Cornea Services, among others. He received his MBBS from GRMC Gwalior and MGM Indore, DOMS (Indore) MS (Jabalpur), and DNB from AIIMS New Delhi, as well as a Post Doctoral Trg in Anterior Seg Microsurgery. He holds the honorary title of Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS). He has distinguished himself in the Indian armed services for over 34 years, rising to the rank of Major General, the second highest position for a doctor in the country’s armed forces. Maj Gen JKS Parihar has distinguished himself as a world-class academician, medical administrator, and educator in the highly specialised fields of refractory glaucoma and kerato lenticular refractive surgery and research.  He has 102 research articles published in national and international journals, and 705 research papers and Inst Courses presented at national and international conferences.
