About
Mr Almas Khan is a leading consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who subspecialises in spine care for both paediatric and adult patients.
He is an expert in all areas of his speciality: this includes complex spinal surgery, spinal reconstruction surgery, minimally invasive spinal surgery, tumour surgery, spinal injections and revision spinal surgery. Patients with a wide range of medical conditions can benefit from his highly professional but also personalised care, for example patients with scoliosis, degenerative conditions that affect the spine, spinal fractures and arm and leg pain that originates from the spine.
As well as providing public and private spinal care services, Mr Khan contributes to his field by means of medical research and teaching future specialists. He has the title of Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and he has a keen interest in researching minimally invasive spinal diagnostics, scoliosis and spinal fractures.
