Mr Naveen Cavale is a highly respected consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in London. He specialises in breast and nose surgery and is also renowned for his expertise in necklift, facelift, blepharoplasty and liposuction procedures.

Mr Cavale obtained a bachelor’s degree with honours in anatomy and neuroscience before going on to qualify in medicine at University College London in 1992. Following further training, he was appointed as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has worked within King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a number of years both as a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon and in a number of senior positions, including clinical director and quality assurance and governance lead. Pursuing further academic interests, he additionally completed a master’s with distinction in surgical science at University College London in 2002 and was awarded fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in 2008. Mr Cavale founded and continues to direct a state-of-the-art centre for excellence in plastic surgery, Real Plastic Surgery, part of the Real Clinic in central London, where he sees private patients.

Mr Cavale’s expertise has obtained him international renown and he is the UK representative of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons – Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, he is a regular speaker at meetings and conferences around the world. His numerous academic publications feature in peer-reviewed journals and he maintains an active role in education. He was featured in the Tatler’s 2021 ‘Beauty and cosmetic surgery guide’ and his expert insight has also appeared in articles by Refinery29, Vogue and Glamour UK amongst others. Productions including the Victoria Derbyshire television programme and BBC3 have also featured his expertise on the importance of regulation in cosmetic procedures.

Aside from his clinical responsibilities, Mr Cavale also upholds various senior positions in his field including as president of the Royal Society of Medicine’s plastic surgery section, trustee of the British Foundation of Reconstructive Surgery and Training and patron of King’s College London’s Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Society. He is affiliated with many professional bodies, including the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and is a council member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Additionally, he collaborates with medical charities including IDEALS which provide essential treatment to refugees and vulnerable communities around the world and makes twice-yearly trips to Gaza to treat victims affected by gunshots and blast injuries. One such visit was documented by the BBC.
