About PD Dr. Benjamin Knier PD Dr. Benjamin Knier is a neurologist with 22+ years of experience. His main focus is treating stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, cluster headaches, and migraine. He studied human medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Dr. Knier did a doctorate from University Hospital Erlangen, Erlangen with experimental work on high blood pressure and associated end-organ damage. He did speiclity training from Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich under Prof. Dr. Hemmer. He won the Newcomer of the year award at the Technical University of Munich and a Doctoral scholarship from the German Research Foundation DFG. He also got 12 months research grant awarded by the Commission for Clinical Research (KKF).
