About Prof. Chee Hyun-Keun Prof. Chee Hyun-Keun is a leading Thoracic Surgeon with +20 years of experience in performing cardiac surgeries and heart transplant. He is a professional member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Cardiothoracic Surgery Network. He has served as a Military Captain between 1989-92. Prof. Hyun-Keun holds graduation (1988), PG (1996) and MD (2000) degrees from the Seoul National University Graduate School of Medicine. He has received an award in 2004 for his contribution to the field of cardiothoracic surgery.  Prof. Hyun-Keun is an expert thoracic surgeon, specialising in the surgery of coronary artery disease, valvular disease, heart failure, besides performing heart transplants. His other interest areas include, artificial heart and minimally-invasive cardiac surgery.  He has authored several research papers on complex heart transplants for reputed journals.
