About Prof. Christian Kasperk Prof. Christian Kasperk is a well-known Endocrinologist with more than 34 years in the field. He is a Board member and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Bone Health Board of Trustees; Drugs Commission of the German Medical Association, Berlin; and also Full member of the Medicines Commission since 2019. He did his graduation from the Christian Albrechts University (CAU) Kiel in 1979 and received a Doctorate from the German Society for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine in 1985. He also has a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the German Research Foundation for the development of an osteoinductive bone substitute material, and the DFG for two-year research stay at Loma Linda University, California, USA. Prof. Kasperk is well-adept in managing all complications of diabetes including end-organ damage such as nephropathy, diabetic foot, neuropathy, etc. He has published various articles and papers in the state as well as national journals and publications.
