About Prof. Dr. Ayman Agha Prof. Dr. Ayman Agha is a reputed Munich-based Oncologist specialising in the treatment of oncological diseases of the abdomen for +23 years. He has expertise in treating bowel cancer and pancreatic cancer. He holds professional memberships of the Bavarian Surgeons Association, the Professional Association of German Surgeons, the Surgical Working Association for Minimally Invasive Surgery (CAMIC), the Surgical Working Association for Endocrine Surgery (CAEK), the German Society for Visceral Surgery, the Tumor Center Regensburg and the Rescue Center, Regensburg. Dr. Agha is also a Full member of the German Society of Surgery.  He obtained his medical education during 1987-93, from Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nuremberg. Dr. Agha did his PG training in General Surgery in 1993 at University Hospital, Regensburg. Between 2000-04, he obtained Board Certification for General and Visceral surgery.  He is an expert at treating bowel cancer, tumuors in the pancreatic tail, Peritoneal cancer, minimally-invasive surgery for benign and malignant colon disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and intestinal prolapse.   Dr. Agha has acquired vast experience over the years by leading, developing and monitoring clinical trials, by introducing new laparoscopic techniques for mobilization of the left colonic flexure during laparoscopic rectal resection, establishing ‘single port surgery’, and by attending international laparoscopic congresses.  He has to his credit, several research papers that have been published in reputed journals.
