About Prof. Dr. Bernd Hamm Prof. Dr. Bernd Hamm is a Berlin-based Interventional Radiologist with 42 years in the field.  He is a reputed member of organizations such as the Congress Committee (ECR) of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), Medical Review Board of the German Research Foundation (DFG), and President of the European Congress of Radiology, and European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR). He is an Honorary Member of the Korean Society of Radiology, Chinese Medical Association, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing, China, Japan Radiological Society, Swiss Society for Radiology, Austrian Radiological Society, etc. He completed his education at the Free University of Berlin in 1972 and Habilitation for radiology in the medical department in 1986. His specialty lies in areas such as MR imaging methods in oncology, Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Technologies for minimally invasive interventions in the MR), MRT-Technologies, MRI with ultra-short echo times, etc. Prof. Hamm has more than 750 published original papers, 14 books, and more than 500 invited lectures.
