About Prof. Dr. Britta Siegmund Prof. Dr. Britta Siegmund is a prominent Medical Gastroenterologist with experience of more than 20+ years. She is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences & Humanities, German Association of University Professors and Lecturers, German Society of Gastroenterology & Digestive and Metabolic Diseases, European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation, Intestinal Diseases Network, Society of Mucosal Immunology, etc. She studied human medicine at the LMU Munich from 1992 to 1998 and received a grant from the Harvard-Munich Alliance for Medical Education at the Harvard Medical School in Boston. After her internship, she went as part of a DFG research fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver in 2000. She is trained in diagnostic as well as therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and adept in treating gastrointestinal disorders, including liver and pancreatic diseases. Dr. Siegmund has written for various publications in international as well as national medical journals.
