About Prof. Dr. Buket Erel Del Castello Prof. Dr. Buket Erel Del Castello is a Pediatric Hematologist with more than 31 years of experience in the field.  She is a reputed member of the Turkish Hematology Association, Aegean Leukemia Children Association, Association for Supporting Our Sick Children and Their Families, Association for Supporting Contemporary Life, Aegean Faculty Members Association (Former Board Member), and Ege University Faculty of Medicine Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Commission Member. She completed her graduation from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Child Health and Diseases in 1989, and specialization from Ege University Faculty of Medicine Department of Child Health and Diseases in 2006. She has won many awards for her research work and dedication in the field of Pediatric Hematology such as the Order of Merit from the Italian Republic (Knighthood) by the President of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, for social responsibility projects and services to society, etc. Dr. Castello is well-versed with Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation, Pediatric Hematology, General Child Health & Disease, etc. She has written 61 Professional Publications, 47 Foreign Publications, 4 Publications in Turkish, and 2 Chapters in a Book.
