About Prof. Dr. Christian Witt Prof. Dr. Christian Witt is a well-experienced Medical Oncologist with more than 36 years in the field. He is a Member of the transplant commission for thoracic organs of the German Heart Center Berlin, German Review Board at Eurotransplant (Leiden, NL), and “Pneumatological Oncology” task force of the German Society for Pneumology and Respiratory Medicine. He has also been an eminent Pneumatological expert of the examination and monitoring commission of the standing commission for organ transplantation (StäKo) of the German Medical Association (BÄK) and Board member of the Working Group on Pneumatological Oncology (POA) of the German Cancer Society. He completed studying dentistry at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald in 1974 and later studied human medicine from the same institution in 1980. For further training to become a specialist in internal medicine, he studied at the Polyclinic for Internal Medicine of the Medical Faculty (Charité) of the Humboldt, the University of Berlin in 1984. Commissioned by the President of the European Parliament as an International Medical Consultant, he holds expertise in managing and treating cancers related to the  Lung, Pleura, Esophagus, Stomach, Liver, Gall Bladder, Brain Tumors, Kidney, Prostate, etc. He has showcased papers at many national conferences and has published notable articles in peer-reviewed journals.
