About Prof. Dr. Christoph Bode Prof. Dr. Christoph Bode is an Interventional Cardiologist with 34+ years of experience in the field. He is a chairman of the Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research, a board member of the German Society for Cardiology, and European publisher of the journal “Circulation”. He studied medicine at the University of Cologne in 1974, post-graduation from the Institute of Physiological Chemistry, Cologne (Prof. Stoffel) in 1982, training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital (Prof. Haber), Boston, MA, the USA in 1984. He completed his advanced training from the Department of Cardiology, University of Heidelberg (Prof. Kübler) in 1986. He has extensive experience in all adjunctive Coronary Interventional techniques including pressure wire evaluation, rotational atherectomy, IVUS, optical coherence tomography, and distal protection device use. Dr. Bode has published several scientific papers and articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
