About Prof. Dr. Eckhart Weidmann Prof. Dr. Eckhart Weidmann is a Hematologist-Oncologist in Germany with experience of over 34+ years. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, German Cancer Society, German Society for Hematology and Oncology, Tumor Center Rhein-Main, European Society of Medical Oncology, German Society for Internal Medicine, etc. He received his medical education from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt in 1980 and obtained a doctorate in medicine in 1988. He also has a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from the Departments of Pathology, Pediatrics and Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Supported by a research grant from the German Research Foundation in 1990. His areas of interest are the treatment of radiochemotherapy, leukemia, lymphoma, stem cell transplant (autologous, allogenic & umbilical cord blood transplant), Antibody Therapy, Immunotherapy, anemia, etc. Dr. Weidmann has presented many papers at assorted conferences held nationally and internationally.
