About Prof. Dr. Faruk Yencilek Prof. Dr. Faruk Yencilek is a well-known Urologist based in Istanbul, Turkey with 20+ years of experience. He is an active member of the Turkish Association of Urology, Turkish Endourological Association, European Urological Association (EAU), Turkish Urooncology Association, Association of Minimal Invasive Urology, and Urologic Surgery Association. He completed his graduation from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and later did his Specialty from Cerrahapaşa Faculty of Medicine Doctorate. He also has several certificates such as the Turkish Urology Proficiency (TUYK) Certificate; European Board of Urology (FEBU) certificate; “Experimental Animal Practice and Ethics Course” certificate; “Teaching Teachers Course” certificate; International Applied Urological Laparoscopy Instructor Course Certificate, etc. His expertise lies in areas such as Urooncology (Urinary Tract Cancers), Laparoscopic Urology Endourology (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy), Prostate Surgery, Flexible Ureterorenoscopy, etc. Dr. Yencilek has won various awards including Astra Zeneca Success Scholarship (in the field of Uro-oncology) Service and appreciation certificates (in duplicate) given by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan. He has 26 publications in international journals and 18 publications in Turkish under his name.
