About Prof. Dr. Fatih Karel Prof. Dr. Fatih Karel is a well-known Ophthalmologist and has experience of more than 31+ years. He has membership with Eye Bank Association, Turkish Ophthalmology Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and EUROPE Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1981, and later did post-graduation from Sinskey Eye Institute – USA in 1988. He has expertise in treating Cataract, Glaucoma, General Eye Examination, Cornea, Conjunctiva Burning, Swelling, Itching, Watering, Diabetes & the Eye, Goiter & Eye, etc. He worked at Sinskey Ophthalmic Center and University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for 1 year in the USA and trained on Anterior Segment Surgery, Cataract Surgery (Phacoemulsification) and Pediatric Cataract Surgery alongside Dr. Robert M. Sinskey. Dr. Karel is also known for his incredible work in the field of clinical research and has various publications in International as well as national journals.
