About Prof. Dr. Florian Bassermann Prof. Dr. Florian Bassermann is a Hematologist-Oncologist in Germany with a successful experience of over 18+ years. He is a member of the Emmy Noether Program of the German Research Foundation – DFG (2009). He has been awarded various recognitions such as the Walther Flemming Medal awarded by the German Society of Cellular Biology (DGZ) (2010), Theodor Frerichs Prize awarded by the German Society of Internal Medicine – DGIM (2015), and many more. He studied medicine in Ulm, Munich, and New York and received his doctorâs degree at the Technical University of Munich in 2002. He also has a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the New York University (2006 – 2009). His areas of interest are the treatment of stem cell transplant (autologous, allogenic & umbilical cord blood transplant), leukemia and lymphoma, bleeding disorders, blood clots, anemia, etc. He has composed for diverse national and international journals along with attending seminars globally.
