About Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Neumann Prof. Dr. Franz-Josef Neumann is a well-known Interventional Cardiologist with 38+ years of experience. He studied medicine at the Universities of Aachen and London and held a postdoctoral position in Physiology at the University of Aachen in 1981. He later undertook a clinical appointment at the Department of Cardiology, University of Heidelberg. In 2001, he became the Medical Director and Chairman of the Heart Centre Bad Krozingen and was affiliated with the University of Freiburg as Honorary Professor in 2002. He has been chairing the Division of Cardiology and Angiology II of the newly founded University Heart Centre Freiburg in Bad Krozingen, since 2012. Dr. Neumann is a member of the International Editorial Board of the European Heart Journal and has extensive knowledge in Thrombosis/Coagulation, Surgical ventricular restoration, Paediatric and Congenital Heart Diseases, Cardiac Catheterisation, Atherectomy, etc. He has published several well-researched articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
