About Prof. Dr. Friedrich Koehler Prof. Dr. Friedrich Koehler is an Interventional Cardiologist with 30+ years of experience in the field. He is Head of the Centre for Cardiovascular Telemedicine, which is specialized in research and development projects of remote patient management of heart failure patients. He studied medicine at the Humboldt-University Berlin and later spent time on research and training in Munich and Guildford. Prof. Köhler is also a member of the editorial board âEuropean Research in Telemedicineâ as well as a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and sub-project leader in the project âNexGen – Next Generation of Body Monitoringâ. He has extensive experience in all Coronary Interventional techniques such as coronary angioplasty, pressure wire evaluation, rotational atherectomy, IVUS, optical coherence tomography, etc. He has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
