About Prof. Dr. Gurkan Tellioglu Prof. Dr. Gurkan Tellioglu is a General Surgeon with an experience of more than 17+ years. He is a member of organizations such as the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Association,Turkey Organ Transplant Association, and IASGO. He graduated from Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2003 completed his specialization from the same university in 2010. He has won awards such as the Third Prize Astellas, solutions that make a difference in transplantation award-winning case competition (2009). He has expertise in organ transplant, Gastric cancer, Colon cancer, Rectal Cancer, Bile duct cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Breast cancer, Breast Cyst, Fibroadenoma, Reflux, Hiatal Hernia (Gastric Hernia), etc. Dr. Tellioglu has written several articles in national and international journals and written a book named Naklen Hayat (2014) “Real stories of patients with organ transplants and words were taken to raise awareness about organ donation.”
