About Prof. Dr. Kerstin U. Amann Prof. Dr. Kerstin U. Amann is a nephrologist with 24+ years of experience. Her clinical interest lies in Amyloidosis, Glomerular Tubular Reflux, Glycosuria, Polycystic Kidney Disease and Urinary Tract Infection. She studied medicine at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Board at microDimensions GmbH, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nephrologie and a member of several international congress advisory committees. Dr. Amann has received several awards, including the Bernd-Tersteegen-Preis, the Dieter-Klaus-Förderpreis and the Franz-Volhard-Preis. She gave numerous invited talks at international conferences, such as the International Society of Nephrology, European Renal Association, European Peritoneal Dialysis Society, and European Society of Artificial Organs.
