About Prof. Dr. Mario Schiffer Prof. Dr. Mario Schiffer is a renowned Nephrologist in Germany with 21+ years of experience. He has been a member of the German Society of Internal Medicine, German Society of Nephrology, German Transplantation Society (DTG), European Renal Association-European Dialysis Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA), American Society of Nephrology (ASN), and American Society of Transplantation (AST). He completed his Studies of Human Medicine at the Free University of Berlin and King’s College, London from 1992 to 1999, and Research Fellowship at the Department of Nephrology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2004. He has expertise in areas such as diseases of the thyroid gland, adrenal gland, pituitary gland, endocrine organs, declining renal function, kidney inflammations, genetic kidney diseases, aftercare of kidney transplanted patients, complications of diabetes mellitus in the kidney, etc. He has received several awards and recognitions from state and national associations.
