About Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Gross Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Gross is a urologist with 37+ years of experience. His main interest lies in the field of endourology and lasers in urology. He is a member of German Society for Shockwave Lithotripsy, German Society for Urology, Endourological Society (New York), European Association of Urology, European Intrarenal Surgery Society, American Urological Association, North German Society for Urology, North Rhine-Westphalian Society for Urology, North Rhine-Westphalian Society for the Promotion of Young Urologists, Société Internationale d’Urologie and South African Society of Urology. He did training in urology in prestigious hospitals of Hamburg. Dr. Andreas has penned 143 journal articles, 200 published abstracts, 250 national and international lectures and 37 book articles. He won many awards, including: Peter Bischoff Prize in 1993 and 1999 Asklepios Award, 2007 Best Video Presentation on Lower Urinary Tract Disease, 2007 Berthold Leibinger Innovation Prize, 2008 Best Endourology and Stones Paper at the WCE, 2014 EAU Poster Prize, Munich – 2016
