About Prof. Dr. Med. Holger Thiele Prof. Dr. Med. Holger Thiele is a cardiologist with 20+ years of experience. His forte includes angiology, MRI, Intraaortic Balloon Support and Catheterization. He completed graduation followed by post-graduation and specialty training. Dr. Thiele won Karl-Ludwig-Neuhaus Research Award, Martin-Kirschner Research Award, Fritz-Acker Award, Hanse Research Award for Intensive Care Medicine and Andreas-Grüntzig Research Award. He is a member of the German Cardiac Society, European Society of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions and a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has many publications under his name in both national and international journals.
