About Prof. Dr. med. Markus Guba Prof. Dr. med. Markus Guba is a General Surgeon specializing in Transplantation and Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery with experience of more than 24 years. He is a member of the German Society For Surgery, European Society of Transplantation, and American Society of Transplant Surgeons. He studied medicine at the University of Regensburg and the Medical School Harare, Zimbabwe, and Eberhard-Karls University of Tübingen (summa cum laude) in 1998. He also has a Clinical Fellowship in Transplantation and Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery from the Multiorgan Transplant Program and Department of Surgery, University Healthcare Network, Toronto General Hospital, Canada. Prof. Guba’s main focus includes the surgical treatment of malignant tumors of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas, thyroid, lung, and rectum. Other than his practice, he enjoys writing articles and book chapters for national and international journals.
