About Prof. Dr. med. Mathias Z. Strowski Prof. Dr. med. Mathias Z. Strowski is a prominent Medical Gastroenterologist with experience of more than 24+ years. He is a member of the German Society for Digestive and Metabolic Diseases (DGVS), German Diabetes Society (DDG), German Society for Endocrinology (DGE), European Association for Studies in Diabetes (EASD), Society for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Berlin & Brandenburg (GGHBB), Berlin Medical Association, and many more. He studied human medicine at the Philipps-University Marburg, Manchester & Ann Arbor from 1989 to 1996 and later did his Doctoral Thesis, MD (summa cum laude) from Philipps-University Marburg in 1997. He has a Postdoctoral Fellowship of the German Research Society (DFG) Department of Chemical Biology & Endocrinology, from Merck Research Laboratories, Rahway, New Jersey, the USA in 1998. He also has completed his Habilitation at the Charité – University Medicine Berlin, Humboldt-University Venia legendi in Experimental and Internal Medicine in 2006. He is trained in diagnostic as well as therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and adept in treating gastrointestinal disorders, including liver and pancreatic diseases. Dr. Strowski has written for various periodicals in international and national medical journals.
