About Prof. Dr. med. Michael Buchfelder Prof. Dr. med. Michael Buchfelder is a neurosurgeon with 21+ years of experience. His clinical interest includes spinal surgery, endoscopic interventions, acoustic neuroma, surgical treatment of epilepsy, treatment of aneurysms and hemangiomas. He is the chief physician of the neurosurgery department at one of the largest medical facilities of its kind in Germany. Dr. Buchfelder and his team perform more than 2,500 surgical interventions every year and render services to more than 5,500 outpatients. Under his guidance, more than 400 operations on the spine are performed, including stabilization procedures. He is a member of an esteemed medical organization named the German Society for Neurosurgery.
