About Prof. Dr. med. Petra Feyer Prof. Dr. med. Petra Feyer is an experienced Radiation Oncologist​ with 41 years in the field.  She is a reputed member of the German Cancer Society (DKG), German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO), German Society for Palliative Medicine (DGP), Oncology in Internal Medicine Working Group (AIO), European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American Society of Clinical Oncology  (ASCO), and European Society for Medical Oncology (EMSO). She is also the President of the German Society Supportive Care in Cancer (ASORS) and Cancer society Berlin (BKG). Moreover, she was on the Executive Board of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) 2013 – 2016, and Chair of the Annual Congress of the German Radiooncological Society 9th – 12th May 2013 in Berlin, Germany.  She completed her education in stomatology and medicine at the Universities Sofia and Leipzig from 1973-1979. Dr. Feyer has completed Fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital London/Sussex (Prof. Horwitz) and Western Infirmary Glasgow (Prof. Anne Barrett), the UK between 1984 to 1994. Her specialty lies in areas such as MR imaging methods in oncology, Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRT-Technologies, MRI with ultra-short echo times, etc. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals and many contributions to books.
