About Prof. Dr. med. Roland Veltkamp Prof. Dr. med. Roland Veltkamp is a well-known Neurologist with experience of over 25+ years in the field. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Stroke Organisation and is an international delegate of the program committee of the AHA International Stroke Conference. He did his clinical training as a stroke neurologist in Heidelberg, Germany, and at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, USA. Dr. Veltkamp’s interest includes all areas of clinical neurology – including the diagnosis and therapy of degenerative, inflammatory, and neuromuscular diseases of the nervous system, the entire spectrum of stroke diagnosis and therapy, etc. He has led a large study on acute stroke management using anticoagulants (RASUNOA-prime). He has written for national and international journals on several neurological topics.
