About Prof. Dr. med. Sascha Flohe Prof. Dr. med. Sascha Flohé is a specialist for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with a special focus on performing special trauma surgery and hand surgery for +26 years. He held the professional membership of the temporary council of the German Society of Traumatology (2010-12).  Between 1987-93, he acquired his medical education at Erlangen, Aachen and Newark (USA). In 1993,  Dr.Flohé completed his Ph.D defense from the Institute of Biochemistry of the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University in Aachen (with honors). In 2001, he obtained the qualification of a specialist in surgery and in 2004 of a trauma doctor. In 2006, he obtained the additional qualification of Special Traumatology.  He possesses expertise in traumatology, orthopedics, hand and special emergency surgery.  Dr. Flohé has several research papers to his credit.
