About Prof. Dr. med. Stephan B. Sobottka Prof. Dr. med. Stephan B. Sobottka is a neurosurgeon with 21+ years of experience. His forte is tumor surgery, vascular neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation, epilepsy surgery and spinal surgery. He has more than 109 publications under his name in peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Sobottka does research in the field of intraoperative imaging,  field of functional neurosurgery and stereotaxic, health care management and neurosurgical intensive therapy. He has done research on the application of a zero-error approach in operative DBS treatment (Six Sigma method). He is a member of the Neurosurgical Research Foundation and the German Society for Neurosurgery.
