About Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Werner Kraus Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Werner Kraus is a reputed General Surgeon with experience of more than 36+ years. He is a member of the FACS Fellow American College of Surgeons, DGC German Society for Surgery, DGAV German Society for General and Visceral Surgery Various scientific working groups of the DGAV, BDC Association of German Surgeons, DGG German Society for Vascular Surgery, Rhein-Main Working Group for Gastroenterology Frankfurt, Frankfurt Society for Trade, Industry and Science eV, etc. He pursued his studies of medicine at the Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg in 1981, and also studied medicine at Westminster Medical School London Charing Cross Medical School London in 1985. He also has a Ph.D. at Heidelberg University in 1987, and started his Basic military service in the German Armed Forces – High Mountain Range 1st Mountain Hunters Division Mittenwald/Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He has a Master of Business Administration “General Hospital Management” from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA, and German International School of Management and Administration (GISMA), Hanover. Dr. Kraus has over 500 lectures and chairs at scientific congresses and meetings, 130 Medline-cited publications, and 18 book chapters.
