About Prof. Dr. Michael Bock Prof. Dr. Michael Bock is a Freiburg-based Interventional Radiologist with 24 years in the field.  He completed his education in Physics from the Universities of Braunschweig and Heidelberg in 1986 and Ph.D. in physics from University Heidelberg/German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in 1992. He also has a Post-Doctoral degree from the Head Clinical of the University of Heidelberg in 1995 and the DKFZ, Head of the research groups Interventional MR and Ultrahigh Field MR in 1996. His specialty lies in areas such as Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Technologies for minimally invasive interventions in the MR), MR imaging methods in oncology, MRT-Technologies, MRI with ultra-short echo times, etc. Dr. Bock has more than 50 publications to his credit in various prestigious national and international journals.
