About Prof. Dr. Michael van Kampen Prof. Dr. Michael van Kampen is a well-experienced Radiation Oncologist with more than 31 years in the field. He is a respected member of various associations such as the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), German Society for Medical Physics (DGMP), European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO), and Hellenic Association of Medical Physicists (EFIE). After completing his education in human medicine at the universities of Hamburg and Erlangen from 1982 to 1989, and Habilitation in the subject of clinical radiology, University of Heidelberg: “Is there a volume-effect relationship of intraoperative radiation therapy?” in 1995. Dr. Kampen has written several publications in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in textbooks. He has experience in treating High precision radiation therapy, IMRT, Stereotaxic, Radiosurgery, Combined radio-chemotherapy, Intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT), etc.
