About Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Degertekin Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Degertekin is an exceptional Interventional Cardiologist with 30+ years of experience in the field. He is a reputed member of the European Cardiology Interventional Cardiology, Turkish Medical Chamber, Turkish Cardiology Association, European Society of Cardiology Fellow (FESC), European Cardiology Cardiac Imaging, European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Interventional Cardiology Department (2010-2011), etc. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and later completed his specialization in cardiology in 1995 from Istanbul Koşuyolu Heart Hospital. He received the “European Cardiologist” diploma 1999, won the European Society of Cardiology Training Scholarship in 2000, worked as a research fellow in the interventional cardiology department at the Erasmus University Thoraxcenter (Rotterdam-Netherlands) in 2001 and was selected as “European Fellow of Cardiology (FESC)” in 2002. Along with these achievements, he has also received his Ph.D. from Erasmus University in 2003.
