About Prof. Dr. Peter Biberthaler Prof. Dr. Peter Biberthaler is a well-known Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 17+ years of experience. After studying medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, as well as in the US and Brazil, he started his internship in the Department of Surgery at the Innenstadt Campus of the University of Munich. He has won awards such as the Herbert Lauterbach Prize of the Association of Trade Union Clinics in Germany, Educational Award of the American Shock Society, and many more. Prof. Biberthaler became the first specialist who had managed to image blood flow in the tissue damage region with the use of intraoperative microscopic techniques. He is specialized in complex shoulder injuries, correction of Lower Limb, Deformities posttraumatic and congenital, Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Arthroscopy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, etc. Along with writing numerous journals in national and international publications, he has also acted as an editor for textbooks.
