About Prof. Dr. Robert Grutzmann Prof. Dr. Robert Grutzmann is a General & Visceral Surgeon with experience of more than 24 years. He is a member of the Working Group on Hepatobiliary Surgery (CALGP), German Society of General and Abdominal Surgery (DGAV), German Society of Surgery (DGCH), and German Society for Vascular Surgery and Vascular Medicine (DGG). He completed his medical studies from 1990 to 1997 at the Berlin Charité University and moved to the University Clinic Dresden, where he received three specialist medical degrees and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management. Dr. Grutzmann became an international specialist in pancreatic cancer and has been awarded numerous prizes for his research. He has published around 120 specialist articles so far – such as the Von Langenbeck Prize of the German Society for Surgery. He is specialized in procedures such as gastric sleeve resection, gastric band surgery, biliopancreatic diversion, revision surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, etc.
