About Prof. Dr. Thomas Nimayer Prof. Dr. Thomas Nimayer is a Spine Surgeon with over 20+ years of experience. He has a membership of the German Society for Orthopedics / Orthopedic Surgery DGOOC, European Spine Society, Scoliosis Self-Help ev and advisory board, German Spine Society, and German Society for Orthopedics/Trauma Surgery DGOU. He did his medical schooling at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald in 1994 and PhD at Universität Tübingen in 2002. He also has a Spinal Fellowship, Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery, Nottingham University Hospital in 1998, and Travelling Fellowship from EUROSPINE, the Spine Society of Europe in 2000. He has in-depth knowledge of Arteriovenous Malformation (AVMs), Tumour Embolization, Angioplasty, Stenting of arterial stenosis including carotid stenting, Intra-arterial Thrombolysis for stroke, etc. Dr. Nimayer has more than 150 publications to his credit in various prestigious journals nationally and internationally.
