About Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan is one of the most experienced Gynecologist & Obstetricians with more than 44+ years in the field. He is a reputed member of the ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology), American Society for Reproductive Medicine, European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy, International Scientific Committee of the Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS), etc. He chaired the International World Assisted Reproductive Techniques and Genetics Congress (IVF) held in Istanbul in May 2005 and is a board member for the educational activities of the newly established International Society of In Vitro Fertilization.  He started his academic career in 1985 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University and became an Associate Professor in 1988 and Professor in 1995. Since 1986, he has worked as a research assistant in reputed hospitals such as London Hospital Medical College, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, The Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science of Saint Barnabas in America, Heidelberg University in Germany, etc. Apart from his teaching and training activities, he has been acting as the Scientific Director of Gurgan Clinic Women’s Health, Infertility and IVF Center in Ankara since 2000 Dr. Gurgan has expertise in Dysmenorrhea, Pregnancy, Gynecology, HPV infection, Menstrual disorders, Risky Pregnancy, Painful Sexual, Menstrual Disorders, Menopause, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, etc. He is the author of more than a 100 scientific articles published in domestic and foreign scientific journals and international books.
