About Prof. Dr. Ufuk Demirkilic Prof. Dr. Ufuk Demirkilic is a well-known Cardiac Surgeon with 35+ years of experience in the field. He is a reputed member of organizations such as the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, the National Vascular Surgery Association, International Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (ISCTS), and The Society For Heart Valve Disease (SHVD). He is the Turkish translation editor of the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and also a member of the Asian Annals of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery advisory board and the editorial consultant for the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy Military Medical Faculty in 1985 and started his specialty training at GATA Cardiovascular Surgery Department in 1988 and became a specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery in 1993.  He has a keen interest in areas such as Blood electrolyte test, Thoracotomy, Armpit heart surgeries, Percutaneous mitral balloon valvuloplasty, Surgical removal of the fibrous tumor, Arkus Aorta Aneurysm, Dialysis Surgery, Mitral Insufficiency, etc. Dr. Demirkilic has nearly 60 international publications and many national medical journals as well.
