About Prof. Dr. Ulf Landmesser Prof. Dr. Ulf Landmesser is a well-known Interventional Cardiologist with 20+ years of experience in the field. He is the deputy editor of the European Heart Journal (since 2008) and a member of the Scientific Program Committee of the European Society of Cardiology(since 2010), and the Swiss Society for Cardiology. Since 2012, he has been Treasurer and Executive Board Member of the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR). He graduated from Hannover Medical School, the University of Connecticut in Farmington (USA), and the National Heart & Lung Institute in London where he specialized in internal medicine and cardiology.  He also has a post-doctoral fellowship at the Department of Cardiology at the Emory Univerity of Medicine, Atlanta (USA) and in 2012 he received the Frederick Goetz price of the University of Zurich for his research on HDL cholesterol. He has more than 320 publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Landmesser has extensive experience in Cardiac diagnostics/Coronary vessel interventions, rotational atherectomy, IVUS, optical coherence tomography, pressure wire evaluation, distal protection device use, Implanting pacemakers/defibrillators/ICDs, etc.
