About Prof. Erol Yildirim Prof. Erol Yıldırım is one of the most reputed Ophthalmologists in Turkey. He holds 50 years of extensive experience in his field. He did his MD from Hacettepe Medical Faculty in 1971. His areas of expertise are the treatment of Glaucoma, Retinal diseases, and Pre-segment surgery. He has memberships of the Turkish Society of Ophthalmology, Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Republics Ophthalmology Society, European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has successfully done more than 15,000 surgical cases.
