About Prof. Hans Martin Hoffmeister Prof. Hans Martin Hoffmeister is a Cardiac surgeon of international repute with an experience of +35 years of treating cardiac disorders.  He holds the professional memberships of the German Society of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, American College of Angiology . He is the Chair of the BDI Cardiology Section.  Dr. Hoffmeister graduated from the University of Karl Eberhard and studied experimental cardiology at the University Center of Durham (USA). He also received additional specialisation in echocardiography.  He is an expert at performing procedures of cardiac catheterisation, implantations of pacemaker and defibrillator.   His area of focus is conducting research in the United States and Germany in heart pathologies.  He has been a Professor for 21 years besides teaching at the University of Cologne.  Dr. Hoffmeister has authored few research papers.
