About Prof. Hoseok Lee Prof. Lee Hoseok is a Cardiac surgeon with +10 years of experience in performing surgical procedures and treating ailments to the thoracic region. Prof. Hoseok is a an active professional member of the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, the Korean Cancer Society, the Chest Wall Interest Group, Korean Lung Cancer Society and the Korean Society for Esophageal Science. He is also a professional member of the International Society For Simulation Surgery and the International Society For Diseases Of The Esophagus. During his career, he has served in various capacities at leading medical institutes, hospitals and society. Prof. Hoseok acquired his graduate and Master’s degree from the Yeungnam University College of Medicine and the Yeungnam University Graduate School respectively. He then completed his Ph.D in Medicine from the Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School. He is an expert at performing thoracic surgery, and the treatment of lungs, esophagus, chest wall, mediastinum and performing robotic surgery. He has contributed a few research articles.
