About Prof. Hwang Dae-Yong Prof. Hwang Dae-Yong is a leading Colo-rectal surgeon with +25 years of experience in performing cancer excision surgeries of the large intestine.  Prof. Dae-Yong is a professional member of various societies such as, the Cancer Disease Review Board, Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service and of the Korean Society of Coloproctology Subspecialist, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Korean Society of Surgical Oncology as a Sub-speciality.  He has been conferred awards for his contribution to the field of surgery. Prof. Dae-Yong is a reputed figure in medical circles, for he has held leading positions as PR and Mediator of Konkuk University Medical Center and the Seoul Central District Court. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in 1984, he completed his Master’s in 1994 and MD in 1996 from the Seoul National University Graduate School of Medicine. Prof. Dae-Yong is a specialised surgeon for colo-rectal and anal cancers and robotic surgery.  He has co-authored several research papers for reputed journals, elucidating his experiences during his studies and practice.
